Local Church Assistance Programs.  Need help paying rent, utility bills, eviction prevention, and dental? Are you looking for the best charities and churches that help with bills like, Catholic Charities and Salvation Army, help struggling families resources to help them keep stability?   These faith-based ministries assist to strengthen the well-being of your family.  You can also help with job preparation, immigrant assistance, parenting education, and family counseling.  Most of these organizations are nationwide but also located in most communities in the United States.  There are many local, and national churches and faith-based organizations work within the community to support, low-income families, the elderly, the disabled and children.

Church Charities that Help with Bills

In every community, there are churches, synagogues, and religious organization that helps families and individuals with bills, counseling, education and more.  Take time to call the larger denomination in your neighborhood to find out where else you can get help.  Many of these assistance ministries, will provide you with a list of faith-based organizations and churches that are funded by the government to dispense money to help pay bills.   The Episcopal Church is a worldwide church organization that distributes services locally. Like all the church assistance, programs mentioned here, they support needy and families, who need a helping hand.  They provide food, hot meals, clothing, and many other benefits.  Contact the Episcopal church in your city, to see what they offer.

Love Inc.

Love Inc. is a nationwide faith-based ministry that mobilizes, churches, affiliates and other organization that can help meet the pressing needs of the less fortunate.  Their call center takes incoming calls from families and individuals who need help with food, rent, utilities, clothing, home repairs, etc. This organization also has a food pantry when people from the community can come in and get groceries. ThedLove Inc. thrift store is open to the public and seasonal programs help families during the holidays. Volunteers are available to help low-income seniors with housework and general errands. Episcopal Church

Episcopal Churches has hundreds of parishes all across the US.  They provide emergency financial assistance to disadvantaged families. They offer a host of other services, like help with utilities, rent assistance medical assistance, clothing closets, gas vouchers to get to work and some location run homeless shelters, food banks, and soup kitchens.  (more)

United Methodist Church

Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities, has been providing a host of services to the community for their past 100-year history. They are committed to helping the poor and transforming lives with respect and dignity. The largest group of people receive help through their feeding program.  Hot meals, emergency groceries, soup kitchens, food boxes delivered to seniors and the housebound.  If you are facing eviction or disconnection of utilities, they can help you.  * (Contact Catholic Charities). The Salvation Army  

The Salvation Army provides help with rent and utilities. These benefits are based on the availability of funding. Each church has a yearly budget, and when the finances run out, you will have to go somewhere else to get help.  They will provide you with a list of other organizations that can help you.  If you need rent or utility assistance, call your local Salvation Army to make and an appointment.  They also offer thrift store vouchers. 

If you need clothing, furniture or household items, you may qualify to go to a Salvation Army thrift store to these items.  You can also receive prescriptions vouchers if you are presently living in a shelter.  Other assistance the Salvation Army provides Nursing, Meal Program, Food Pantry, Emergency Shelter, Eviction Prevention.   School clothes for children.   (more Info.)

St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church

St. Vincent de Paul, is a leading charity organization in the United States. They are a ministry dedicated to serving the poor.  They support families dealing with sickness, family problems, and other financial difficulties.  They are committed to providing social services, resources and financial assistance for the needy.   Staff and volunteers offer financial aid and counseling to low-income and homeless families financial assistance paying bills, and referrals.  The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, is a non-profit ministry that offers varied types of assistance such.
