Free Christmas Toys and Gifts for Children

alt="free christmas gifts kids"

Free Christmas Gifts for Kids. Each year, American charities, churches, and community organizations join forces to help disadvantaged communities with Christmas. Christmas can only be merry if you have food and other necessities of life. Don’t hesitate to contact your local charities if you need help with toys, bills, or food.

Why Free Christmas Gifts for Kids?

Christmas is the time of the year children look forward to the most. Even though we were not well off, my fondest memory is of Christmas time as a child. Sadly, some children wake up to no tree or toys on the 25th of December.

As a parent, knowing that you can not afford your children’s little things like a doll or a toy truck isn’t easy. We are committed to providing information to help your family celebrate Christmas like other families. We have listed Christmas assistance programs that provide gifts, food, toys for children, and help with bills.

Christmas Assistance for Families

Many families struggle to pay rent, buy groceries, and other needs. Often, Christmas is off the table for these families. Charities like the Salvation Army and Catholic Charities support the community all year round.

We have also listed agencies that help maintain family stability. If you need help with rent,  utility bills, and food assistance. Please bring proof of identity, revenue, and social security cards for all seeking use.

The Lion’s Club

The Lions Club is known for its community outreach efforts, helping at-risk youth, eye and health programs, and disaster relief. They also assist in gift-giving each year at Christmas. Contact the Charlotte Lions Club about two months before Christmas and ask for assistance. All help is given based on funds available and volunteer assistance.

Salvation Army Angel Tree

The Salvation Army and Walmart have been working together for over 40 years to address the needs of people. This Christmas, we are reminded of love above all things by partnering with the Angel Tree program in Walmart stores nationwide. Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas.

The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program provides new clothes and toys to over a million needy children annually.

Donors like yourself can purchase items from their Christmas Wish List when a child is accepted as an Angel. Once your gifts are received, The Salvation Army will distribute them to needy families on Christmas morning.

Angel Tree Christmas – Prison Fellowship

Angel Tree Prison Fellowship is a program operated by the Fellowship in Prisons, with thousands of churches working with the community to bring toys and gifts to children. They are reaching out to children of prisoners and their families. When you donate, you may be helping a child or family. Each year, this charity is sponsored by The Salvation Army.

They give children toys and gifts to teenagers, seniors, and families in need. This program is possible because of generous donations from businesses, individuals, and organizations. Your donation helps these precious children every year!
