Why Free Christmas Gifts for Kids?

Christmas is a special time of the year, especially for children. I remember me and my sisters waking up to find a living room filled with dolls and other toys.  It breaks my heart to know that some children will wake up Christmas morning to find they have not received one single toy.  It is very difficult for parents who love their children but can not afford to buy toys for their children.

The program listed here work with low-income households to provides toys and gifts for children and the elderly. There are many families that are looking for assistance each year. The key thing is to apply for a toy or gift early, so your child is placed on the list for help.

Christmas Assistance for Families

Giving Christmas gifts and toys to disadvantaged children is a wonderful act of charity. Giving free Christmas gifts to children reminds the poor they are not forgotten.  Many families need financial assistance with bills during the holiday season.  These families struggle with paying rent, utilities buying groceries and other needs.  Often Christmas is off the table for these families.  Charities like the Salvation Army and Catholic Charities give support to the community all year round.

We have also listed agencies that help maintain family stability by preventing evictions, paying past due utility bills and providing food assistance.  If you need help in any of these areas, we will show you where to go for help.  Eligibility is determined by the gross family income of the entire household.  Please be prepared to present proof identity, income and social security cards for all seeking help.
