The Jewish Federation of North America

The Jewish Federation of North America works with other charities across America, to offer free services to communities.  They provide services to anyone in need, regardless of religious affiliation.  They represent hundreds of Jewish Federations and community organizations and raised more than $ 3 billion a year for, social welfare and services, education pursuits.

Their goal is to strengthen people and communities.  This nonprofit organization supports of Jews in the United States and worldwide. Assistance League is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting financially challenged families and individuals in the community locally. They have 120 chapters nationwide.

The Salvation Army is a faith-based charity and non-profit, that has a location across the United State and around the world.  Their purpose is to relieve the suffering of the poor and to give support to restore the individual and families back to self-sufficiency.  The Salvation Army is a Christian denominational and organization, providing assistance in the United State and throughout the world.

United Methodist Church

The United Methodist Church was established in the 19th century as a World Wide outreach, their focus is to help the poor, and growing the denomination.  They help by:

  • Ministering to the poor by providing support to those in third world countries, suffering from HIV/Aids, Malaria, Tuberculosis.
  • Providing Food, shelter, and clothing

The National Urban League

The National Urban League is a celebrated civil rights organization committed to the financial development of urban cities.  This nonprofit began in 1910, in the city of New York and now has 95 affiliates in 35 states and in Washington, DC. The Urban League is a non-profit charity that promotes, jobs, education and housing opportunities in the inner cities of the United States.  Their goal is to promote and encourage independence, by developing the whole person.

The United Red Cross Nonprofit Assistance

The American Red Cross like the Salvation Army has been around for well over 100 years. They are known for their blood drives and relief and Red Cross training on the job.  The Red Cross heals the wounds of the suffering all over the world. Where there are fires, floods, and other disasters,  they are one of the first charities on the scene.  They provide shelter, water, blanket’s food, and counseling. Volunteers of America

Volunteers of American was established in 1896 by Maude and Ballington Booth. Their mission is to reach the world with the message of God’s love. Their social gospel is an outreach to seniors, the disabled, veterans, youth, homeless and ex-offenders.

One of their outreaches helps families locate and acquire safe affordable housing for low and mid-income families. They also house homeless women, men, and families, the disables and those with mental challenges.  Click here.

    Hi, Tabitha. You obviously don’t earn enough. I should be able to get assistance from the government, Medicare for the kids and SNAP benefits. Presently Contact charities for help with your bills. Keep in mind this is the time of the years the greatest number of people apply for help. However, if you qualify for emergency assistance that would b be great. Ask for a reference to other charities that can help. Church Charities

    I’m in credit card debt and looking for some house to consolidate them most companies I’ve looked into want to charge me over $8000 which I can’t afford I’m looking to pay the stance I just can’t afford to do it at a rate they’re asking to being out of work doing medical issues I’ve had eight operations and 10 years and been out of work I’ve use these credit cards to live on although I’ve been paying them on time what is good what a good standing I’ve never been late with them I just can’t afford it anymore my income has a crushing God history hundred dollars a week I now need a knee replacement it’s going to put me out of work for two months between my life and I my income between social security for both my life and I it Is 3600 a month my expenses with paying off my bills and rent puts us behind every month I need help getting out of the stat I need advice if you could help me it would be appreciated
