Help with Home Weatherization Repairs

The U.S.  government provides grants for home repairs to help low-income families remain in their homes.     The program helps vulnerable disadvantaged homeowners who are unable to pay for expensive home repairs to maintain their property.

Families who remain in their home can be subject to dangerous and unhealthy environments, leading to sickness and other medical problems. If there is no intervention, the home will fall into such disrepair and eventually become uninhabitable.

These homes can become the target of fires, drug use, and squatters and destroy and brings instability to communities.   Free government grants for home repairs, help to keep already threatened communities in from further deterioration. When homes fall apart, neighborhoods decline, businesses leave and communities are abandoned.
