Do you qualify for the Home Weatherization Program?  If you are low income and need help with home repairs, continue reading.  This government subsidy assists elderly, disabled, and low-income homeowners. With home repair grants, you make their homes safe to live in.  The program helps make necessary home repairs to help with energy conservation in the home and help maintain the health and safety of the property.

Help with Home Weatherization Repairs

The U.S.  government provides grants for home repairs to help low-income families remain in their homes.    The program helps vulnerable, disadvantaged homeowners who cannot pay for expensive home repairs to maintain their property.

Families who remain in their homes can be subject to dangerous and unhealthy environments, leading to sickness and other medical problems. If there is no intervention, the home will fall into such disrepair and eventually become uninhabitable.

These homes can become the target of fires, drug use, and squatters and destroy and brings instability to communities.   Free government grants for home repairs help to keep already threatened communities from further deterioration. When homes fall apart, neighborhoods decline, businesses leave, and communities are abandoned.
