Medicaid

Medicare Savings Programs
State programs are low-cost medical programs that help pay Medicare premiums andย Medicare Part A and B.
- Qualified Medicare Beneficiary.ย If you are a QMB, you receive help with Medicare Part A and B and deductibles and co-pays when you qualify financially.
- Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary.ย If your income is at or below the federal poverty guidelines, you qualify for help with Part B premiums.
- If you are disabledย and your gross yearly income is at or below the federal poverty guidelines, you qualify for assistance with Part Premiums.
Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
SSI is a monthly supplement Social Security pays to the disabled, blind, 65 years old and older whose incomes and resources are limited.ย They provide money for food, clothes, and shelter.
