    1. Hello, Connie. It is your responsibility to find an apartment or home. Once you do they you may be able to get assistance from the Department of Social Service or HUD. If you are not getting cash assistance or SNAP to help with the kids contact your local DSS.

    1. Hello, Samantha. You may be able to get help with the Department of Social Services if you qualify financially. All assistance is given based on your gross family income. Take proof of income, identity, social security card and the turn off notice. You can also call 2-1-1 to find programs in your city that help with bills.

    1. Hello, Veronica. Go to any public hospital in your city. They have to give you medical care, even if you don’t have insurance. When you go to the hospital, ask to speak to the social worker, who can help you get more permanent help, like disability, free medical care, etc.
