Food banks and food pantries in Charlotte, NC, distribute groceries to struggling families and individuals.  Popular organizations like Loaves & Fishes and  Second Harvest serve Mecklenburg County and the surrounding areas.  Many people in America work 40 or more hours a week.

North Carolina Poverty Coalition Inc.

The N.C.P.C. Food Program is a resource to help struggling families in the community with free food services. Emergency food service is available to children, those without homes, older adults, and lower-income.  If you need help with food, there are Food Pantries located at:
